Yesterday I got the wonderful opportunity to attend my niece's baptism.
She’s the first of all the grandchildren to be baptized and it was quite a special experience.
Baptisms usually are.
She looked beautiful in her white dress. Absolutely beautiful. Not the beauty we’re told about every day by the world but the true beauty of virtue, purity and innocence. Something that’s hard to find these days. It reminded me of the scripture telling us we need to become like little children.
Humble.
Meek.
Submissive.
Patient.
Full of Love.
That’s what creates true beauty in us.

I know that if we become like little children and live the principles and doctrines of this beautiful gospel there will be a beauty that continuously surrounds us both male and female.
I say male because the part that really brought tears to my eyes was the confirmation circle of a dozen or more worthy priesthood holders. For that small moment, there was nothing more beautiful to me.
